Capt Dave Anderson, le propriétaire de "Safari baleines", a qualifié ce spectacle de "Danse aquatique".

Les baleines grises migrent vers le sud de l'Alaska aux eaux plus chaudes de Baja, et cette baleine a décidé de jouer pendant environ 10 minutes avec un groupe de dauphins à flancs blancs.

"Elle se placait à l'envers et en incitant les dauphins à glisser sur son ventre», a déclaré Anderson dans une vidéo.

«Ces dauphins sont magnifique avec une coloration unique. Même si ils sont normalement observées pendant les mois d'hiver au large de la Californie du Sud, cette espèce de dauphin a été remarquablement absente avec seulement deux observations depuis Octobre dernier, ce qui rend la rencontre d'hier spéciale."
